Mapleton Local Election

GREETINGS:
In the name of the State of Maine, you are hereby required to notify and warn the inhabitants of the Town of Mapleton, in said county, qualified by law to vote in Town affairs, to meet at the Mapleton Lions Hall, in said Town, on Monday, the 16th day of March, A.D. 2026, at three o’clock in the afternoon and then and there to act upon Articles 1 through 2 by ballot as set out below:
- To elect by majority on written ballot, a moderator to preside at said meeting.
- To elect by majority on secret ballot, according to the provisions of the Revised Statutes of Maine, Title 30-A, Section 2528: One (1) Select Board Members for a term of three (3) years; One (1) Assessor for a term of three (3) years; and One (1) Sewer District Trustees for a term of two (3) years.
